Patricia Sprague Principal Broker/Owner I moved to Ashland in 1975, and was captured by its beauty. I became a Realtor in 1977 and opened my own company in 1987. My husband David joined me in 1989. We are co owners and principal brokers of Patricia Sprague Real Estate. When I started my company I did not realize I would still be in real estate this long. But the truth is I still love it, and what I love the most about real estate is the people I meet and work with. For most people real estate is the biggest investment they will make in a lifetime, and the saying “Home Sweet Home” is still true, especially now in these times. For me there is nothing more wonderful than seeing the happiness when one finds the home they love, or the excitement when someone finds a great investment, as well as when they sell, and anticipating a new future. The other joy I find in real estate are the people that work with us in our company. We are like a small family and they have the values and integrity that is so important to me for our company. Some of our agents started out as my clients. And some have been with us for over 20 years, it is always a pleasure to come to the office and see their friendly faces. This is a very challenging time. When I first got into real estate the interest rate was 19%. That was also challenging. And now more then ever it is important to be able to give as much professionalism as well as caring for every client, and hopefully have their experience in purchasing or selling, be as smooth and enjoyable as possible. When a customer comes through our door, I feel it is a great honor, and I appreciate the business they bring to our office.

David Sprague Principal Broker/Owner David Sprague (husband of Patricia) has been a broker at Patricia Sprague Real Estate for the past 14 years. He joined Patricia 17 years ago. Prior to his real estate career, he was a forest engineer for the government. David is also a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. He grew up in San Francisco and has lived in Ashland since 1970. |

Rebecca Brunot Broker I moved to the Rogue Valley in 1976 (from Pennsylvania) and in 1987 started my career in real estate. I know the area and the market well. Emily Zook Broker Emily
moved to Ashland from New York City where she’d
worked as a Production Manager for Scholastic
Publishing Company. She also co-owned an antique restoration business, which
boasted credits in some of New York's finest homes
and buildings including the famous Dakota, across
from New York’s Central Park. Emily
went to college in Ohio before joining the Peace
Corps where she was stationed in Venezuela.
Her South American experience gave her many
of the skills and qualities that she attributes to
her subsequent business successes.
Fluent in Spanish, Emily worked as an Adult
Education Counselor and successfully ran for
public office in New York. Following
her passions, acting on opportunity and taking
calculated risks have been part of Emily’s
mantra that led her to Ashland. |

Susan Gabrielle Broker Susan was raised in Palo Alto, California and has been living in the Rogue Valley for the past 25 years. She has been enjoying the service of real estate for the past 11 years. Her background in business includes 11 years in the hotel and the hospitality field where she completed training in sales and catering, hotel accounting, office management and public relations. Susan greatly appreciates the beautiful essence of nature. Her greatest love is for all children of the world and their future here. Charlotte Carlsen Broker I’ve lived my whole life in the West, born in Nevada, raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, then to the Rogue Valley in 1989. As a real estate broker with Patricia Sprague Real Estate since 1995, I’ve developed an appreciation for Oregon’s unique land use planning system. My husband, daughter and I have lived on rural land since moving here; I understand the challenges of living with a well, a septic system, cows, horses, sheep, goats and chickens, and various rural neighbors. I’m lucky to live in Oregon because I love to hike, swim, and camp-all are possibilities within an hour’s drive of Ashland. Last but not least, I’m a gardener. Kathryn Gimbel Broker Kathryn Gimbel is originally from Southern California where she grew up living on the coast. FRANK DALZIEL Broker I'm an Oregonian born and raised. I grew up in Myrtle Creek, Oregon on the South Umpqua River. I moved to beautiful Ashland, Oregon in 1988 to attend the university after living for one year in Bremen, Germany. I immediately fell in love with Ashland as soon as I drove into town and knew that I belonged here. I worked as a popular bartender for several restaurants downtown and was voted by Ashland's Sneak Preview magazine as "Favorite Bartender" in 2002. I have been a Realtor since 1999 and absolutely love my job. I have served as an Advisory Director for the Southern Oregon Multiple Listing Service since 2003. In 2005 I was voted again by the Sneak Preview as one of the "Top Ten Hardest Working Realtors" in Ashland. An honor I truly value!
